Introduction to the
HRSF PLAYER'S GUILD

The HRSF is a troupe of performers who will study and develop their craft towards the goal of world-class professional standards. Opportunities will be offered to learn many different aspects of performance and to be seen in many different venues as part of an exclusive entertainer's group. Members will receive a professional evaluation at the end of each season and will be guided in presenting to the theater community as a professional Shakespearean actor.

Besides the monetary rewards, members will grow as an actor and as a student of Shakespeare. They will learn Shakespeare on a Journeyman level - well advanced of the regular actor who has dabbled into Shakespeare but never really immersed themselves. Shakespeare is seen as a cultural highpoint - and it will be expected that members approach all of their assignments with respect for the craft, with discipline and with determination.

Guild members' commitment and effort will be the major determining factors in what they receive from the Guild. T heir whole-hearted input as an actor will be necessary in creating our productions, and they will be expected to participate with all of their acting tools sharpened and willing to work. The Guild has a Code of Conduct and a contract which members have agreed to and acknowledged with their signature.
